Turntable photography project:
Web shops like to photograph things as they revolve on turntables.
Presumably the photos are clearer if the object stops, a camera takes a photo, and then it revolves a bit more, so old 16rpm turntables aren't the answer and something specially made out of Lego Mindstorms or such is. Somewhere I have a note of which cheap software will turn all the photos into a revolvable image. Mechanical solutions might be OK as well.
Finished light boxes with turntables and software cost £2,000 in the UK; turntables alone £1,000 ($1000 in the USA).
Anyone who has a lightbox can then set-up in business photographing objects for other people.
